About Trust
Shri Merchant Charitable Trust, abbreviated as MCT, is registered as Public Education Trust under the Mumbai Public Trust Act, 1950 in 1999 and allotted Reg. No. is F 1490/Mehsana under Act 1950, GUJ1503/Mehsana Act 1960.
The motto of MCT is to enliven the society through education. Since 2000, MCT has established over eleven institutes by entering into various disciplines. Under the active leadership of Shri Rajendrabhai Patel, MEC is blooming/ flourishing under the patronage of MCT.

Our trust also runs Distance Education Program Centre under Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University, Ahmedabad, Since-August 2004 and Global University (Distance Learning Program)
We are also running two centers of SCOPE program, launched by Gujarat Government, One is at Nilkanth College of Education, Visnagar and the rest is at Merchant Polytechnic College, Basna.
