Overiew

Physics is the most fundamental of the sciences. New concepts, such as Quantum Mechanics and Relativity, are introduced at degree level in order to understand nature at the deepest level. These theories have profound philosophical implications because they challenge our view of the everyday world. At the same time they have a huge impact on society since they underpin the technological revolution.

Objectives

  • Demonstrate  practical experience and organizational skills to the students so that they can interact and communicate effectively (written and /or oral) with others (e.g., supervisor, client and/or team) with an appreciation for intellectual diversity, involved in the project.

    • Demonstrate leadership and /or assumes roles of increasing responsibility that benefits themselves and their employers.
    • Recognize the importance of and engagement in life – long learning through.
      • Continuing education courses,
      • Formal diploma level education, and encourage co – workers to have this same motivation and
      • By visiting we create extra knowledge and latest technology about their field.

Infrastructure

The department's space is designed for flexibility and to allow easy further infrastructure expansion. There is ample space for laboratories and classrooms to support teaching and group interactions.

Laboratory experiments are used throughout the courses to consolidate and illustrate the material taught in lectures. There is a large laboratory devoted entirely to undergraduate experiments.

The department also provide equipements such as:

1) Microscope
2) Instruments Regarding Physics Practical’s Such as Spectrometer, Flywheel, Colorimeter, Potentiometer, PN-Junction Diode, Rectifier, Capacitor, Thevenin Theorem Practical, Zener Diode, pH Meter, Computer, Internet Program , Language Lab Programs, LCD, etc…

Activity

-Weekly test for General Knowledge, Training for Personality Development and yoga, computer skill Development. Training for to use Website, To Send e-mail, Basic Knowledge of internet etc.
-Visits to Academic Institutions, industries, Parks, Natural Heritage, Parliament.
-To Train Students for Competitive Examination Regarding GPSC, UPSC, NET, SLET, TET, TAT, H-TAT etc.
-To Train Students as per Prescribed activities by HNGU, Patan.
